Christine and I were out for Valentine's Day dinner last night. We went to a really nice restaurant called Restaurant l'académie. Here is a picture of the inside of the restaurant:
So of course with last night being Valentine's Day all of the couples were out to dinner. We are both people watchers whenever we go out to public places. She sat in the corner where she could see everyone, I could only see her, so I didn't get to watch any people last night! We have been together going on 3 years now and she asks, "Do we still need to try and impress each other?" All of the other couples that were out were trying to impress their dates with the way that they dress and the way that they act. The two of us, we have seen each other plenty of times where we have had to dress up. I mean she has to dress up everyday for work. You get used to this kind of stuff.
Don't get me wrong, we always look nice wherever we go, but we do live together and see more then enough of each other, so there is no need to dress to impress anymore. There is no need to try and impress someone with our behavior when we go out either. We do manage to live together in a one bedroom apartment and enjoy one another's company without having to act differently.
So I guess you could say that we are happy and comfortable together. People always compliment us wherever we go. I guess in a way it really does show how great we are together.
